Lanxess: Price increase for urethane products

With immediate effect the Urethane Systems business unit of specialty chemicals company LANXESS increases prices for its products as follows:

EMEA:

• Adiprene / Vibrathane and other urethane prepolymers will rise by up to EUR 0.80/kg, depending on the product grade
• Vibracure and other urethane curatives will rise by up to EUR 0.50/kg, depending on the product grade

Americas:

• Adiprene / Vibrathane and other urethane prepolymers will rise by up to US$ 0.90/kg, depending on the product grade
• Vibracure and other urethane curatives will rise by up to US$ 0.50/kg, depending on the product grade
• Fomrez polyester polyols will rise by US$ 0.33/kg

APAC:

• Adiprene / Vibrathane and other urethane prepolymers will rise by up to US$ 1.73/kg, depending on the product grade
• Vibracure and other urethane curatives will rise by up to US$ 0.8/kg, depending on the product grade

These price increases are driven by a continued rise of raw material costs, says Lanxess.
